Armor Battery Films is manufacturing En’ Safe® primed current collectors for battery and ultracapacitor manufacturers. En’ Safe®, highly conductive and protective primer specifically formulated for your application presents several significant advantages to your batteries: higher energy density, faster charging, improved safety and longer cycle life, by optimizing the interface between the cathode/anode slurry and foil collector.
Armor Battery Films is part of Armor Group, an intermediate-size industrial company (450M€ revenues, 2500 employees and 26 manufacturing sites worldwide), specialist in chemical formulation and high precision coating: 2.3 billion sqm produced annually.
Batteries projects:
DEFIBATT (FRANCE 2030 – Call Batteries): in this collaborative project with IMN (Nantes Materials Institute – CNRS/Nantes University), Armor Battery Films acts as the coordinator. The aim of this project is to design and develop primed current collectors for Gen 3+-5 batteries.
2 Horizon Europe Projects:
– SOLID: will create a sustainable and cost-efficient pilot scale manufacturing process for a high energy density, safe and easily recyclable solid-state Li-metal battery.
– PSIONIC: a four-year EU-funded project under the EU Horizon Europe Research and Innovation program, which aims at supporting the development of all-solid-state battery technology.
