Busbar manufacturing

DELVIATEK is an industrial company that was jointly created by DELZEN and ELVIA (each a 50% shareholder). This creation corresponds to the strategic desire of these two industrial players to combine their skills and know-how to enter the emerging electromobility market together and jointly equip themselves with a diversification vector and a growth driver.

With this common perspective, the two shareholders have therefore taken the tactical option of positioning themselves primarily on the manufacturing and assembly of equipment (such as busbars or “battery heads”) for electromobility, and especially, batteries.

In this respect, DELVIATEK has entered an initial collaboration with a major client of this industrial transition, ACC, which has been activated at the end of 2023 with the delivery of the first series of busbars.

 It should be noted that this cutting-edge technology is innovative in France and should, like ACC’s ambitions, allow for the development of employment in the mining basin due to upcoming local recruitment and the geographical proximity of our company’s key partners/suppliers.

To date, the operating budget of our DELVIATEK start-up is provided by the capital made available by the Shareholders, and also by the financing authorized by regional, national or even European organizations & national systems.

Today, DELVIATEK has 12 employees who work on the deployment of the industrial process inherent in the mass production of busbars, whose projected annual volume is around 1.2M units in next years.

DELVIATEK will thus reach its full potential in 2025 within the framework of the ACC contract.

However, DELVIATEK already wishes to initiate not only the structuring of its activity but also the diversification of its markets (outside the collaboration with ACC) in order to be a major player in the industrial project that constitutes the Battery Valley within 5 years.

Thus, from now on, it is necessary to structure the activity & control it to make it operational and efficient, both on an organizational and human level.
