MTB (Fr.) is a leading global player in waste management. Relying on its R&D teams, MTB focuses its activity around three major areas: recycling, equipment manufacturing and engineering.

(i) Recycling and recovery of complex waste and non-ferrous metals up to 50,000 tons of waste are treated each year by MTB.

(ii) The design and manufacture of recycling machines from design to commissioning. MTB designs, develops, machines and manufactures machines or complete units. Today, 3,500 MTB machines are deployed worldwide, in 50 countries.

(iii) The Engineering and installation of turnkey factories and modular transportable units.

In the battery sector MTB Group, through MTB Manufacturing, know how to design, manufacture and install the machines and industrial lines necessary for the transformation of li-ion batteries (production scrap, end-of-life batteries, battery elements, etc.) into shredded materials, evaporate the liquid elements, separate the main elements of this shredded material, valorize the “macro” fractions and provide a quality “blackmass” fraction suitable for the extraction of metals by hydrometallurgy.
