Solvay as a product offer of Cathode binders (all CAM) & Si Anode binders*, Electrolyte Solvent & Additives* for high energy batteries (including high Voltage), Separator coatings and LiFSI salts. We are currently developing Sulfide Solid State Electrolyte, a new technology enabling electrode dry processing* to ease the transition to Solid State Batteries*.
Solvay is also present in Conversion segment through the sale of our chemicals for solvent extraction of Ni, Co, & Li to refiners. We are currently working to develop a specific technology offer for the recovery of Ni, Co, Li from Black Mass.
Solvay objective is to become a major supplier of Battery Materials in the European value chain for Battery, bringing its product at cost, at scale, at the best quality and carbon footprint level in the time expected by the market.
* All the marked projects are supported by the IPCEI framework in France, Belgium & Italy.
