Repurposing

Voltéo is a group of batteries specialists based in Bordeaux.

In all 27 Volteo shops across France and Spain, we provide with any kind of lead acid batteries, chargers, solar panels for every need.

This year we have a new project. Our project is as simple as strategic. We collect used batteries from our shops, we dismantle the packs to analyze and sort cells according to their SOH, we repurpose and give the pack back to the customer. Today we are having a laboratory in Bordeaux to focus on R&D for second life cells and start production. Next year, we are building a factory in Bazas (33) to industrialize this process.

We mainly target micromobility, e-tools and household appliances markets, batteries up to 1kWh.

Volteo takes deep consideration into choosing top quality cells, BMS and strictly respect regulations about transportation and waste management.

At last, Volteo really values environmental and social matters as we are doing a CSR approach at every level of our business.
